A flake epoxy floor turns a dusty, stained garage slab into a finished room. The system is built in layers: the concrete is ground open, cracks and pits are filled, a pigmented base coat goes down, and vinyl flake is broadcast into it until the floor is fully covered. After the excess is scraped and vacuumed off, a clear topcoat locks the flake in and gives the floor its sheen.
Full-broadcast flake is the most popular garage system for a reason. The texture hides dust and tire marks, adds grip when the floor is wet, and holds up to hot tires, dropped tools and the oil and coolant drips that come with a working garage.

How much does a flake epoxy garage floor cost?
A typical 2-car garage of about 450 sq ft is roughly $2,700–$3,600 depending on condition, and a 3-car garage of about 650 sq ft is roughly $3,900–$5,200. Use the estimator on this page for your exact size.
Can you coat over my old epoxy or paint?
Not directly. Old coatings and paint have to be ground off so the new system bonds to bare concrete. That removal is why those jobs sit at the high end of the range.
Will hot tires lift the coating?
Hot-tire pickup is mostly a problem with thin roll-on kits. A ground, fully broadcast flake system with a proper topcoat is built to handle it.
Can I pick my flake colors?

Do you need to come out to price my floor?
No. Most projects can be priced from the size, the floor condition and a few photos you text or upload. No home visit needed.
Is there a minimum project size?
Yes. Most projects start at $1,500, metallic floors start at $2,500, concrete sealing projects start at $1,150, and LVP or laminate flooring (most rooms) starts at $2,000 installed. Smaller areas can often be added to a larger job.
